Borderlands the first

BORDERLANDS 1:

You Start on a bus, and told the story of THE VAULT, you are a Vault Hunter. Right away you Choose 1 of 4 Vault Hunters.

There is Roland,  a former member of the Atlas Corporation's private Crimson Lance army, is described by the game as a "Soldier" and is able to deploy an automated gun turret that can be upgraded with a wide range of offensive and defensive abilities, along with a support role for his teammates. Roland and prefers shotguns and combat rifles. I usually use him when I'm just running around.

Then Lilith a siren, and her
Phasewalk ability allows her to temporarily enter another dimension, which renders her invisible to enemies, makes her move faster and she is unable to take damage from enemies. Her Phasewalk causes a powerful shock-wave blast that can damage nearby enemies whenever she enters and exits Phasewalk. Lilith's preferred guns are fire, acid, electrical, or explosive elemental tech weapons and some of her skills focus on improving her "damage over time" with elements.

Mordecai, a Hunter, specializes in using sniper rifles and revolvers and is aided by his pet Bloodwing, an alien bird resembling a hawk, which can be used to assist in his long-range attack skills and scavenging for loot.

Brick is a Berserker, a
tank-style character who is strong in melee combat. Brick's preferred weapons are explosives and rocket launchers. Brick has the special ability to temporarily enter a berserker rage mode during which he cannot wield guns, instead using his massive fists to rapidly pound his enemies to death, and rapidly regenerates health. Besides being a melee expert, Brick can use explosive damage more efficiently than the other classes.
The story is rather interesting. You can Co-op with 3 people over wifi and 2 player on 1 system. You go through Pandora picking up cool weapons and Leveling up, there is alot to do. You First arrive in Fyrestone and Meet DR. Zed. A "Doctor" who needs your help. and then shortly after you meet some other pretty..... interesting characters. Well the whole time you are Going forward to open the vault with great promises of treasure. once you beat the story you may think you're done but there are 4 DLC installments.
Main Story for me is about an 8. There are alot of good things about this game. I'll get into my likes and dislikes at the end but for now I'm going to rate the DLC.

Dr.Ned's Zombie Island

You enter Jakobs cove and right away you are attacked by Zombies, one thing i can say is the Zombies are done Very well. AS you push forward with this Borderlands themed horror movie you encounter Wereskags, and Zombies. As you investigate these Zombies you find out that Dr.Ned was trying yo save the workers of Jakobs cove and inadvertently changed them into Zombies. This DLC was Very well made but i feel like it could have been more so on my scale it only receives a 5. It's not that I didn't like it i just felt as if it wasn't as well done as it could have been.

Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot

This DLC is a Wave by Wave DLC. You enter the arena and you are immediately asked to compete in this Sport of Slaughter. You can really only say so much about this but i loved it. my rating of it is a 6. It is a good add-on but after a while it gets tedious and if you are soloing the game it gets very boring.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx:

Level cap increase! You get an 11 level cap raise with this DLC. PLUS a new Vehicle. You start this DLC meeting Scooter, one of the characters heard through-out the main story. Not shortly after you are Introduced to the Villain of this segment General Knoxx. Works for the Atlas Corporation. You are hired to take him down by an assassin named Athena. This is by far the Biggest and most worthwhile DLC of Borderlands 1 and gets a 9.

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution

Ah, the Last DLC, Featuring Claptrap, Your annoying little guide from the main story. at the end of the story Claptrap is shocked by energy from the vault and is turned into Claptrap interplanetary ninja assassin. He then sets out to takeover Pandora with his Millions of Claptraps.... yes there are alot of them. the most thrilling part about this DLC is all the time he spent annoying you, you now get to shoot a bunch of him in the face. This DLC gets a 8.

OVERALL:+Great replay value

+Lots of DLC

+ Great Characters

+Great Co-op

-ALOT of fetch quests

-Boring Single player

My rating of all of it including DLC is a 9.

Stay tuned for a Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow Review....... yeah that's right..... it's next!!!
